Companies House is a mine of valuable information, especially if you are nosey!
I can’t remember how many times I have sat with a client, and we have pulled off accounts for competitors, neighbours or anyone else of interest. Long gone are the days when you either got a fiche from Companies House to put on your fiche reader of had to persuade Companies House to fax the documents to you. For many years we have had a system where for a modest fee and a short wait, you could download accounts, annual returns and anything else on that company’s record.
Now it’s free and very quick, and there are new facilities being added all the time. It is worth a look.
