Описание: In this kickoff session of the 2026 Vibe Coding Special Interest Group, Rachel Weiss, ATDCFL’s Director of Technology, introduced members to the power of “vibe coding” using natural language and AI tools to create interactive learning experiences, games, and web-based tools without traditional coding expertise.

Participants explored how vibe coding fits within the ATD Capability Model (Professional Capability focus), discussed real-world applications in instructional design, humanitarian training, customer education, and K–12 environments, and previewed Rachel’s gamified Tetris learning activity built using tools like Figma Make and Replit.

Members were encouraged to identify real challenges in their work that could be solved with vibe coding and to experiment with Rachel’s shared toolkit before the next session. This SIG meets every third Thursday in 2026 and is designed as a collaborative lab where members build, test, and refine AI-powered solutions together.
