A friends old ASUS ROG GTX 1080 was getting way too hot, so in this video I show you how I replaced the thermal pads and thermal paste and cleaned the entire card.
This is not a polished guide, it’s just my real‑world experience working on a GPU and sharing the process and results with you.
After the refresh, the temperatures dropped by around 16°C under load, which makes the card much more comfortable to use again.
