James is a teenager living with his father and stepmother. When his father moves abroad for work, he has to stay with his stepmother who, unhappy, starts drinking heavily.
Winner Best female actor (Anna Louw) at the Namibian Theatre and Film Awards 2014, the film, first released in 2012, is produced by the Ombetja Yehinga Organisation (OYO), a local NGO aiming at creating social awareness using Arts. Directed by Philippe Talavera, it also stars Elize de Wee, Dennis !Kharuchab, Joseph Molapong and various newcomers. The film is part of the mini-series ‘My best Interest’ – an anthology series looking at the best interest of children.
