With a simple mechanism - 1” x 8” - you can add a foldout design to the inside of a card that is both surprising and a perfect way to use many coordinating papers.
Add a layer to each of the sections of the mechanism, die cuts and sentiments.
Use a standard A2 base of cardstock, or make the card base with double sided papers to show off the beautiful prints.
Materials used are ©️Stampin’ Up!
Card Base: Cloud Cover grey cardstock: 8 1/2” x 5 1/2”, scored at 4 1/4”
Mechanism: 8” x 1, 1 1/2 or 2”Score at 2, 4, 6”
Layers for card front and 2 insides: 4x5 1/4”
Layers for Mechanism: 4”tall x 3/4”, or 1 1/4”, or 1 3/4” depending on the width of your mechanism.
Adhesive
Sentiment for cover and inside
Die cuts, ribbon to finish front or inside
IF: you use double sided paper for the base, cut it at 8 1/4” x 5 1/4” so that you can add it to a card stock base for stability, cutting the cardstock at 5 1/2” x 4 1/4”.
