রাজনৈতিক সদিচ্ছা ছাড়া ব্যাংক খাতের সংস্কার ও ঝুঁকিভিত্তিক তদারকি কাজে আসবে না বলে জানিয়েছেন বাংলাদেশ ব্যাংকের গভর্নর আহসান এইচ মনসুর। বলেন, আগের সরকারের সময় ব্যাংক খাতে যে অনিয়ম হয়েছে, তা শনাক্ত করা হয়েছে। সোমবার বাংলাদেশ ব্যাংকে এক সংবাদ সম্মেলনে গভর্নর আরো জানান, ব্যাংকের আমানতকারীদের আতঙ্কিত হওয়ার কিছু নেই।
Bangladesh Bank Governor Ahsan H. Mansur has said that banking sector reforms and risk-based supervision will not be effective without political will. He said that irregularities that occurred in the banking sector during the previous government have been identified.
