Hello everyone. My name is Kania. I’m a grade 4 student at Al Azhar 55 Islamic Primary School Yogyakarta. Today I’ll take you on a tour around the school. It is located in Sleman, Yogyakarta. Now, I’ll show you all the rooms and spots on the school campus. Please follow me!
This is the security office. The security officers here are responsible for keeping our school safe. Now please come with me and follow this hallway. And this is the lobby. Here you can see our school’s entry sign. Most people like to take pictures here. And here is the playground. This playground is actually new. Since the pandemic hit our country, and the school has gone online, the students here haven’t got the chance to play in the playground T.T Sad. Let’s hope that this pandemic will be over soon. Aamiin.

Okay now let’s go to the classrooms on the first floor. Here is 1 Umar bin Khattab classroom. Hmm nice room, isn’t it? The next one is 1 Ali bin Abi Thalib classroom. Wow, wonderful! I like the bright colors of this room. After 1 Ali bin Abi Thalib, we have IT room. As you can see, there are some computer sets here. Then, this is 2 Ali bin Abi Thalib classroom, and the next one is 2 Umar bin Khattab classroom.

Now let’s go to the second floor. Let’s go upstairs. Please be careful ya! In this pandemic we have to be very careful, so don’t touch the handrail, and watch your steps!

Woohoo, now we are on the second floor! This is 3 Ali bin Abi Thalib classroom, and the next one is 3 Umar bin Khattab classroom. Let’s go to the next room. This is the school’s administration room and behind this is the teacher’s room. The school welcomes and meets with guests in this room, and the teachers discuss everything in the room behind. The last room in the second floor is the School Principal’s room. We can meet our school principal here ^^

Are you ready to move to the third floor? Follow me to the far end corner! This is 4 Ali bin Abi Thalib classroom. I’m proud to say that I belong to this class. Then on the opposite side, we have a very special room. If you feel unwell at school you may need to go to this room and get a light treatment or some medicine. This is our healthcare room. Beside 4 Ali bin Abi Thalib classroom, there is 4 Umar bin Khattab classroom. What a nice room, isn’t it? And next to it is 5 Ali bin Abi Thalib classroom. There are two lavatories on this floor, one for men and the other one for women.
Okay, let’s move on to the fourth floor! After you take the stairs, you’ll find 2 other lavatories as on the third floor. Uppps. On each floor actually. Well, the next room is the first classroom on the fourth floor. It is 5 Umar bin Khattab classroom. Then, the next one is 6 Umar bin Khattab classroom. And as you may already know, this classroom is for the most senior students in our school. And we are now moving to the next room and it’s called Cambridge room. Everything related to Cambridge curriculum can be found in this special room.
Well what a journey we’ve completed this far. Are you already tired? I bet you’re still full of energy to continue our tour, because the next one is a really cool place to visit. After going up the stairs, we’ll finally find the library. It’s the ‘heaven of knowledge’ and ‘window of the world as it holds a collection of books ranging from science to fictions. Almost all kinds of books are available here. Next to it is our laboratory. If by any chance you like to investigate scientific phenomena, this room will be your favourite. And finally, the next room is the most fun of all, the Art room. This is full of colourful, beautiful and artistic works of painting, handcrafted objects, music instruments, dance properties, you name it. No wonder this room is one of the most popular among students.

The last spot I want to show you is the School Backyard. To go to the backyard, we must first go downstairs back to the first floor and follow the hallway to the backyard. Then you will find this Little Bridge leading to the backyard. Be careful while walking on this bridge. Don’t run!
Hmm finally this is our school backyard, with the green grass and some space to play around. Students usually have PE class here. Hmmm let’s enjoy the warm sunshine :D
