GBO2 S Gundam (Post-Buff): Can it compete with Demeter?!

This video contains two matches I had with the recently buffed LV2 S Gundam on Gundam Battle Operation 2. It is a 600-650 cost raid with great stagger ability, two high damage melee weapons, good mid-range shooting ability, flap booster to allow for quasi flight maneuvers, aerial melee to downswing mid-air and the A.L.I.C.E. ability boost which massively boosts mobility. Its weaknesses would be that it is somewhat large and easy to shoot at, has low ballistic defence, has very slippery hover movement and that it consumes way too much thrust when using flap booster before ALICE activates. This suit was recently buffed to have 21500/24500 HP, better slots at 650, LV3 MA at 600, less beam focus time and lock on time once ALICE activates, more power and less focus time for the smart gun, more power and stagger value for the rapid fire smart gun, better beam saber power at 650 alongside better overheat time and range for the INCOM. Its primary weapon at LV2 is a rapid fire beam smart gun with 800x5 (2600) power, 10%x5 (70%) heat, 0.5 seconds cooldown, 15 seconds overheat, 0.77 seconds swap time, 405m (505m) range, 2 seconds focus time and 20%x5 (70%) stagger value. This has absolutely amazing performance, it is in contention to be the best primary weapon in the game honestly. Each burst shot does 4000 total damage and 100% total stagger accumulation, making it incredibly powerful. Charged shots focus quickly too.
Its primary melee weapon at LV2 is a beam saber with 2900 power, 2.5 seconds cooldown, 0.5 seconds swap time and 70% combo modifier. This has high power and good combo modifier, but the fast swap time and long reaching downswing animation also makes it easy to knock over enemies with. You can downswing while in the air with this weapon.
Its first sub weapon is a vulcan gun with 105 power, 60 ammo, 512 RPM, 10 seconds reload, 0.5 seconds swap time, 200m range, 896 DPS and 6% stagger value. These just have okay DPS, but they can stagger in about 2 seconds, making them a good stagger option when your other weapons are cooling down.
Its second sub weapon is a pair of back beam cannons with 1500x2 power, 85% heat, 5 seconds cooldown, 20 seconds overheat, 0.77 seconds swap time, 400m range and 20%x2 stagger value. These have high damage and instantly stagger, but they do stop to fire. They are also of course useless when you are flying around with Flap Booster.
Its third sub weapon is a pair of thigh beam cannons with 577x2 power, 50% heat, 15 seconds overheat, 0.77 seconds swap time, 350m range and 20%x2 stagger value. These aren't too effective for staggering since they stop to fire, but they can deal fairly good damage.
Its fourth sub weapon is a head INCOM with 1150x3 power, 50%x3 heat, 15 seconds overheat, 0.77 seconds swap time, 300m range and 25%x3 stagger value. This is pretty weak on its own honestly, it doesn't deal much damage, it can't stagger on its own and it has a lengthy overheating time.
Its fifth sub weapon is a pair of beam sabers with 3050 power, 2 seconds cooldown time, 0.5 seconds swap time, 90%x2 downswing modifier, 2 seconds focus time and 180%x2 heavy attack modifier. These have a slower and more narrow downswing animation compared with the single beam saber, but they have incredible damage output.
The LV2 S Gundam has 24500 HP, 20 ballistic resist, 25 beam resist and 30 melee resist. This is good durability, but it isn't quite as good as some others, since the only buffer it has is a 30% reduction backpack buffer. It does benefit from having LV3 Maneuver Armor, LV2 Damage Control and LV1 Emergency Evasion.
It also has 140 (155) hover speed, 225 (240) boost speed, 70 thrust (-50% thrust consumed) and 72 (87) turning speed. It has pretty good mobility before ALICE activates but is held back by especially slippery hover movement. It has LV3 Flight Control and Forced Injectors normally. Once ALICE activates at 50% HP you get a dramatic boost in mobility, with the exact effects in the brackets. On top of that, you also get LV3 Emergency Evasion, -50% lock on time and -50% ranged focus time.
In conclusion, I feel that the S Gundam is going to be much more viable now thanks to these buffs. For 600 cost it has the stagger accumulation and melee burst damage to take out powerful threats like FAZZ and Byarlant Custom Unit 2, while still having good tools to take on MP Nu Gundam FF, even if it has its barrier ready. For 650 cost it has no issues fighting Cannongan. IMO, the issue is the competition it will face. Yonfavin makes this thing quite hard to play, so you might not even be able to get close to the support. And of course, at 650 cost, the Demeter is so much stronger that it isn't even funny. If Demeter didn't exist, this thing might have been the strongest 650 raid. Thanks for watching, and I hope that you enjoyed it!
