Burnmouth (NU08) Northumberland - Motorbike Trail Riding in England

No local name for this one so named after a feature next to the start on OS Maps, a house called Burnmouth on the A686 Cupola Bridge Road.

It starts steeply on a loose stony surface and the first problem is a gate, not easy to park a bike here (best to leave it in gear). It then continues to climb on a surface that is a mixture of dirt and stones, loose in places it gives this lane a grade of Amber in the dry but Amber/Red if wet (remember the grades are for big adventure bikes). After it levels out the going gets much easier with only one other gate to pass (don't forget always leave gates as you find them unless it looks like it's been left open (i.e. it's swinging loose) if it's not propped or tied open then best to close it.
Ends at an unnamed tarmac road, turning left then second right takes you to NU06 Plenmeller Common.
