Atlas has converged to walking in Isaac Sim !
Granted - not the fanciest gait yet - but it did converge.
This one is special for me because this isn’t a ready-made asset from Isaac or NVIDIA.
It’s a robot I designed myself (26 DoF), and I essentially “transplanted” it into the existing Unitree G1 task pipeline instead of using the original model.
Bottom line: it stands, it walks, and the learning loop works.
From here, the sky’s the limit - now the gait can be shaped and optimized for whatever objective makes sense.
