How to Share Spotify Songs with Sound to Instagram Story (New Feature)

To share a song with sound from Spotify to Instagram, first open the Spotify app and find the song you want to share to your story. Tap the three dots next to a song name and select Share, or tap the share icon in the bottom right of the playback window. Depending on the song you’re sharing, you may have the option to change the background of your story post to have video clips, photo, a solid coloured background, or a gradient. Pick the background option you prefer. Then tap the Instagram icon labelled Stories. This will open the Instagram app with the story editor window, and your selected song and background option will be loaded in from Spotify, including the audio. You can resize and move the album cover around like any other sticker on Instagram. You can edit your story with additional text or stickers if you like. When you’re finished editing your post, tap Your Story or Close Friends at the bottom to share it. When your followers view your story, they can tap the album cover or the text underneath your name to get the option to open the song in their Spotify app.
