Delhi To Lift Weekend Curfew After Dip In COVID-19 Cases, Shops To Be Open On Odd-Even Basis

Описание: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today sent a recommendation to Lt Governor Anil Baijal to ease restrictions imposed to curb the spread of COVID-19.

The Kejriwal government has recommended lifting of the weekend curfew (in effect from 10pm on Friday to 5am on Monday) and allowing shops and commercial establishments to open on all days. The Delhi government had announced a number of curbs on December 28 as COVID cases surged. These curbs included shops having to function on odd-even basis to restrict crowds.

The government has recommended allowing private offices to function with 50 per cent attendance. Private offices had previously been asked to implement work-from-home measures.
