Morning chores turned into more than I was expecting...
Just a normal start to the day on the farm until something unexpected happened. In this video we are doing morning chores, helping out a neighbor, loading grain, cleaning out a grain bin, and setting up another bin so we can unload from it.
Before all this I picked up a pitchfork beside a stack of bales, a bunch of them shifted and nearly came down on top of me. I am not sure if they had been slowly moving overnight or if grabbing the pitchfork caused just enough vibration to make them go, but either way it definitely caught me off guard.
Nothing like a surprise during morning chores to wake you up. Farm work always has a way of keeping you on your toes.
