Taking the measurements and beginning the process of creating custom photo backdrops for my model railroad.
To keep the size of the printed vinyl decal down, I will be painting the entire backdrop a sky blue color and then applying the mountain and treeline decal right onto it.
I measure each section of the backdrop to get accurate dimensions and any oddities that need to be designed around.
Using Corel Draw, I create an image the size of the largest rectangular dimensions of each piece.
Using very large raw images from my DSLR I will use Corel Draw to stitch the images together and create a realistic looking backdrop for the entire railroad.
