The fear is that the buyers that are under contract will terminate and this will cause an Austin real estate bubble. We had Chris Jacob with The Housing Report speak to our agents about what the current data is about actives, pending and sold properties, and what this could mean for the future of the real estate market.

Real estate agents need to be able to properly explain to home buyers and home sellers what is going on with Austin real estate. They need to be able to present market trends based on data that help buyers determine if they are going to buy now or wait until later. Timing the market in Austin is extremely difficult and there are excellent opportunities to get a deal on housing in Austin and the surrounding areas.
