Today is the day that I make it all the way up to Crook’s Corner, just past Pafuri. I head out early morning, with coffee in hand and eager with anticipation. There are some great sightings along the way - beautiful birds, including Fish Eagle, Sparrow Hawk, White Fronted Bee-Eaters, as well as plenty of Nyala, Kudu, Warthog, Elephant, Crocodile and Water Buck. It's a solid 10 hours of driving - and what started out as cloudy and drizzly, turns into a magical afternoon and another fantastic sunset.
