Die Frontschau No 7 Attack by Infantry and Tanks Against a Village 1941 German Eastern Front Footage

Описание: German training/propaganda? film from 1941 showing an attack against a presumably Russian village somewhere along the eastern front during WW2. Intended to show "soldiers' life at the front" and how they deployed and used a variety of weapons in battle, this appears to be a compilation piece with clips from various engagements.

The title of the series, "Die Frontschau" translates literally as, "The Frontshow" or "The Frontview" depending on which translating site you use.

I don't speak German, and using Google to translate the introduction doesn't work very well so here is a summary of what the introduction says:

Prepared for the education of [the Reserve Army] by [Army Movie Office?] produced from film reports of propaganda units and captured enemy filming.
It goes on to say that the pictures give a real impression of the battle and the life of the soldiers at the front. Additionally the viewer should compliment their training by viewing the behavior of the field soldiers paying particular attention to his momentum, persistence and tenacity as well as the military use and performance of the weapons.

Also please be advised that I have no idea what the narrator is saying throughout the video so I want to be clear that in no way do I endorse or support Nazi Germany or what it stood for. I posted this to give you another look at World War Two that many of you may not have seen before, and left the audio in for the benefit of those viewers who do speak German so they will have a better idea of what is happening in the video.

The original German title for this film is, "Angriff von Infanterie und Panzern gegen eine Ortschaft". Depending on which translator you use, the word "Panzern" translates as either "tanks" or "armor".
