In 2008, Radames Pera, best know for his portrayal of the iconic "Grasshopper" in the original hit TV series KUNG FU (where the meme "patience Grasshopper" originated) visits his mom at his childhood home to assess the extent of her "collecting habit" (much of which was funded by his earlier career).
Forty years of not letting anything go has made the place uninhabitable, and at the time of this filming Lisa wasn't ready to admit that she was already living miles away in a motel.
It would take Lisa another year to admit this, and declare her readiness to let go of the home, and Radames another 18 months to form a plan to properly empty, sort, liquidate the salvageable assets, and spruce up the place up to put it on the market. This excavated amazing objects d'art and loads of memorabilia from his and his mom's respective careers (a related separate doc underway).
This doc shows the humanity of the situation and what's needed do right by someone who has suffered an addiction in this form.
