1. Gather CAV Requirements from your school registrar
Commission on Higher Education
Certification, Authentication & Verification (CAV) Form CAV No.
REQUIREMENTS
1. LETTER OF CONFIRMATION from the School Registrar(Original copy)
2. DIPLOMA(2 Xerox copies duly certified by the School Registrar)
3. TRANSCRIPT OF RECORDS (2 Xerox copies duly certified by the School Registrar)
4. SPECIAL ORDER NO. (1 Xerox copy duly certified by the School Registrar)
5. Duly Notarized AUTHORIZATION LETTER & VALID ID of representative - in the absence of the applicant
2. Forward CAV requirements to CHED or TESDA
2 Options to process CAV
1. Your school can process it for your (via school) but will of course you need to pay some extra fees
2. Handle it personally and bring it personally to the government agency CHED or TESDA
Note**For Universities no need to process through CHED you can go directly to DFA

Once you finish the process of CAV they will provide you the receipt together with the DFA Authentication Stub.
Please make sure that the receipt from DFA was attached to the documents of apostille, do not detached any documents because that’s the most important requirements of UAE Embassy (DHL/VFS).
3. Process Apostille at DFA
2 Options to process Apostille
1. Your school can process it for your (via school) but of course you need to pay extra fee
2. Do it yourself due to pandemic you need to send an email to the nearest branch/office that you want an apostille to gen an appointment schedule, then you need to bring your documents to the DFA branch/office where you scheduled an appointment. You need to present an ID if you are the representative you need to bring your notarize authorization letter.

4. Claim Apostille at DFA Office
2 Options to claim Apostille
1. Get the stub from your school registrar office and claim at DFA office based on your appointment schedule
2. You may request to deliver it in your home/office
5. The next process is sending the papers to the UAE embassy in the Philippines. This can be done via DHL Express of VFS outlets as the UAE embassy doesn’t allow walk-ins. You need to request for UAE embassy authentication and MOFA attestation through DHL or VFS, and it will take about 7-15 days or more, it just depends upon the holidays in Philippines or in UAE. If incase the DHL or VFS cannot process your MOFA attestation you can process that document here in UAE.
6. Once you received your documents apostille with authentication you can present directly to Ministry Of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) in UAE to authenticate your documents. It cost 150/AED for stamping fee, so you need 2 stamps total cost is 300/AED. Aside from UAE authentication.
7. After the MOFA stamp, it can now be submitted to the employer or to whichever governing body it is intended for.
