This is part 1 of the ms660 clone bolt for bolt assembly series


My creation of the crank puller tools:

   • Husqvarna Stihl crank/bearing installation...  

Other things I use here in this vid:

oem gasket kit 1122-007-1053
Threebond 1184 sealant
Blue loctite
m10x1.0 RH tap (or 1/8"npt) and 3/4" threaded rod
ideally: m12x1.0 LH tap and 3/4" threaded rod (for PTO)
bgchemtool or acetone
aftermarket scrench (or any other round cheap metal that fits) ...ideal OD around .800 (less than .875") and length .75" or so

This is the first in the series. I will take this saw to fully built, as well as others including husqvarna 372 clone, and stihl's ms440 and 360's.

UPDATE: As Walt points out, its important to make sure the case positioning pins are inserted in the FLYWHEEL SIDE case half... insert the pins in that case half, put the gasket over that, then put the cases together.
