Episode 212 of Love At First Scent

This was a YouTube Live broadcast streamed on Wednesday 22nd September 2021. Unscripted. Unedited. Unrehearsed.

In this episode, I reviewed several new perfume releases for September 2021, and a classic from the 1980s:

Here's the blotter update...

On paper, the Chloe is impressive, maintaining its innocent, uncomplicated lightness for a considerable length of time. I shall be fascinated to try it on skin.
Anamcara mainly settles down to orange blossom and tuberose. It is perhaps too sweet and opaque - as though it has insufficient room to breathe - but I shall have to wear it on skin before making a final conclusion.
Rain Moss becomes less intriguing as it develops, losing some of the complexity that marked its opening.
Vacation continues to make me smile: coconut and pineapple make way for lilo and beach ball. Someone had fun making this, which means we'll have fun wearing it.
Finally, Derby remains sublime, moving from florals to leather with a slow, measured, barely perceptible nod of its wise head.
