Un beau exemplaire des films Pathé de l’époque, qui montrent une fierté forte des industries françaises et du retour de l’Alsace-Lorraine à la France. / A steelworks in Alsace-Lorraine using the Thomas process, which seems to be a variety of the Bessemer process then widely in use. The film contains dramatic views of the vast machinery and animations to explain the process, and is a good example of the genre of Pathé films of the time which show France’s pride in its industrialisation and the fact that it had regained Alsace and Lorraine from the Germans.
