“The project was very run-and-gun, and the ZR was the perfect fit for such a film. Having RED colour-science in such a compact body was a real game-changer especially in post production. When filming in a remote are with little access to power, so many things mattered in capturing the shots in the right conditions, and the ZR did it all.
Snap Bridge also became essential, especially when the camera had to be rigged far from me, and being able to monitor recording, change settings, and stay in control from my phone made a huge difference.
Overall, the camera never got in the way of the story, it supported the process, kept up with the pace, and let us focus on bringing the project to life.”
