Many of y'all have seen videos here and there of the Republic Services McNeilus Volterra ZSL in action in various California cities- from Elk Grove, Richmond, to far south as Anaheim, Chula Vista, and everywhere else in between. However, this is the only video so far of this truck being used in Oregon, and the latest addition to the Republic Services Wilsonville Yard. Currently, to my knowledge, only three yards in Oregon: Wilsonville, Salem, and Bend have one or more of these units. Despite the hate most people have for this truck, it runs quite smoothly, and I am personally glad Republic bought the first electric truck all the way back in 2024! I personally think this is definitely much cooler than their generic Autocar ACX, Peterbilt 520 McNeilus ZRs, and 520 Labries.
