In this episode, I share my takeaways after attending the Nelson Nash Institute annual Think Tank and explain what the Institute has meant to me as an independent advisor and authorized infinite banking practitioner.

We discuss the unique atmosphere of being in a room of aligned practitioners focused on financial sovereignty, building relationships, and helping everyday families rather than competing for status, rate of return, or self-promotion. We also discuss why highly credentialed financial professionals often struggle to grasp infinite banking at first, how many long-time practitioners only fully adopted it after the 2008–2009 crash harmed their clients’ investment portfolios, and how some then stopped promoting traditional investment vehicles like 401(k)s and RSPs in favour of this approach as a foundation.
I note the conference’s consistent Christian worldview, with frequent biblical references that were not presented in a pushy way, and highlight recurring discussions around historical and worldview topics, including books like The Creature from Jekyll Island (Edward Griffin) and Outwitting the Devil (Napoleon Hill).
Finally, I share personal reflections, including practical lessons (wear comfortable shoes), that attending was worth the cost, that I want to spend more time networking next year, and that practitioners openly corrected sloppy language (e.g., “policy loan” vs. “pulling money out”), often delivered gently—especially with a southern drawl.
