Mont-Saint-Michel in Minecraft - Brittany & Normandy Kingdom (Part 3)

Описание: Hi everyone, I'm back! In today’s video, we’re concluding my challenge series to complete the Kingdom of Mideaux in its entirety. For the final part, I’ll be building Mont-Saint-Michel as it is today, in my own interpretation and style. I start off with the construction of the Abbey, and then begin on the intricate village below. Finishing off with a few defensive touches and more modern renovations of the site, and we now have a newly remodeled Mont-Valiers, the Wonder of Mideaux!

This project has been my biggest hurdle as a builder thus far! I endured quite the mental struggle whilst trying to get this complete. Unfortunately, this means I have fallen short of a few promises, such as completing the interiors for Mideaux city. Therefore, the interiors for the rest of Mideaux (including the remainder of Mont-Valiers) will release alongside the Aszulis World Tour - 3 Year Anniversary - Coming by the end of the year! Thank you to everyone who has watched any of my videos over the past few years since I started this journey.

Background:

Valiers began as a remote island outpost in the Sea of Mideaux, founded when the King ordered one of his vassals to raise a sanctuary atop the island’s steep, wave-battered rock. The church quickly became a refuge for pilgrims seeking protection from Vishgardian raids, and its monastery expanded into a fortified Abbey complex that dwarfed a growing village below.

As the monastery grew over the generations, new terraces, structures, and defensive walls were built into the island’s southern face. With each renovation, the island’s ability to sustain its people expanded, transforming Valiers into a safe haven whose layered defenses reshaped the entire shoreline into a thriving village.

In time, Valiers became more than a refuge, emerging as a vital stronghold for the Kingdom of Mideaux. Its fortified monastery now commands the surrounding Sea of Mideaux, watching over trade routes and serving as a first warning against Vishgardian sails. Today, Mont-Valiers stands among the most impressive architectural accomplishments in all of Mideaux, and is widely recognized as the Wonder of Mideaux.
