Welcome to the 49th running of Grandma's Marathon!
What started in 1977 with a group of local runners as a scenic road race from Two Harbors to Duluth has become the 10th-largest marathon in the United States. The race begins near Two Harbors, Minnesota and participants travel along scenic Highway 61 into Duluth, to the finish line in Canal Park.
Due to severe weather moving through the region, the event was delayed for half and hour. The full marathon starts with the Wheelchair and Adaptive race at 8:05 a.m. The Elite men at 8:10 a.m. and Elite Women at 8:15 a.m.
