The goats get fed and milked, the quail tractors get rotated, fed and watered, chickens get treats as I collect eggs. The ducks chatter while the work gets done. The two gardens enjoy much needed water and the simple sound of the sprinkler draws in our lovable cattle dog, Rooster.

I hope you enjoy this calming, relaxing, soothing video that shows everyday chores with the animals we love so much. Our hobby farm brings us so much joy, and it was such a pleasure to move through the chores with intention as this was filmed. I hope this video demonstrates some of the everyday tasks on homesteads and hobby farms.

Our goat herd is made up of Oberhaslis, a lamancha, an Alpine, and a nubian. Our chicken flock has a wide variety of breeds, but my favorites are Orpingtons and Wyandottes. We have a blue slate and a bourbon red turkey. Jumbo and celadon quail live in tractors in our front yard. The four ducks are a Cayuga, a khaki campbell, a fawn & white runner and a chocolate runner. The rabbits are Silver Fox.
