Webinar: Degradant formation in cannabis concentrate aerosols
Webinar Abstract: Vaporizing cannabis concentrates is increasing in popularity as a potentially healthier alternative to smoking. However, little is known about the chemical profiles of aerosolized concentrates including the levels and identities of thermal degradation products that are produced during vaping or dabbing. Our lab has focused on the mechanisms of degradant formation as a function of the different components/additives of cannabis extracts that are consumed using vaporizing devices, and the development of unique methodologies adapted to studying the consumption of cannabis.
