Karra Samu (Stick-Fight) is a primeval art. During the ancient period, the young people of the village were trained in this art to defend themselves and the villagers. This art was mainly useful during the ancient period when incidents of thefts were rather common in the rural areas. This skill was also helpful for villagers to guard themselves and their private property against robbers on the highways during their journeys to far-off villages. Thus evolved this art of self defense, that once helped men in protecting and defending themselves!
