In today's video, we are discussing the latest CBSE Circular No. 1/2026 dated 12.01.2026. This is a very important reminder for all CBSE affiliated schools regarding the uploading and updating of mandatory details on their official websites.
Key Highlights of the Circular:
Transparency: CBSE is emphasizing transparency for parents regarding teaching facilities and infrastructure.
Teacher Details: Schools must upload names and qualifications of all teachers as part of the "Mandatory Public Disclosure".
New Deadline: All updates must be completed in the revised Appendix-IX format by 15th February 2026.
Staffing Norms: The Board has reiterated the 30:1 pupil-teacher ratio and the requirement of 1.5 teachers per section.
Consequences: Non-compliance will be treated as a violation of Affiliation Bye-laws and may lead to heavy penalties.
Appendix-IX Requirements: Schools must now include specific documents like Fire Safety, Building Safety, and even a YouTube link of the school inspection.
