Since Adam is portrayed as an Archangel in Hazbin Hotel, I created a series of songs in which the Seven Holy Virtues respond to “Hell Is Forever.”
While the details of the exterminations are kept strictly between Sera, Adam, and the Exorcist army, I do not believe Michael or the other Holy Virtues were truly ignorant of what was happening. They have stood aside before, choosing to intervene only when they believed it was absolutely necessary. Looking the other way does not mean they agreed with or sanctioned Adam’s ideology or what Sera was permitting.
Several of the Virtues have carried out acts of genocide in Heaven’s name in the past, or have even acted directly against Heaven’s decrees. Because of this history, they understand the weight of such decisions and believe they should never be made lightly.
This song is Sariel’s response to “Hell Is Forever.” Sariel is the Holy Virtue of Faith and is traditionally known as the Archangel of Spirits and Divine Accountability. He is the one angel in Heaven who understands better than most what it means to act against Heaven itself, as he was once one of the Watchers.
Unlike Watchers such as Samyaza, who sought human wives, or Azazel, who taught humanity skills that would later corrupt them, Sariel’s intent was to offer guidance and help humans learn how to tend to themselves. Because of this distinction, he is the only Watcher who accepted responsibility for his actions, atoned for them, and was ultimately forgiven.
Sariel’s role is to observe what happens to souls after judgment has been passed and to tend the boundary between punishment, consequence, and transformation. From this perspective, he would view Adam as dangerously impulsive. Adam’s philosophy that “Hell is forever” collapses moral complexity into a single, irreversible verdict. Sariel would see this as a fundamental misunderstanding of judgment itself.
Judgment is not about rage or emotional closure. It is about accounting.
Sariel would quietly note that Adam’s desires are personal rather than principled, which makes him unfit to decide the final fate of souls. He would likely classify the exterminations as a moral debt that Heaven has incurred rather than a righteous solution.
If there are other angels, in addition to the Virtues, that you would like me to write responses for, please let me know in the comments.
The lyrics were written by me, but the song itself was recorded using MakeSong, as I am not a strong singer and do not currently have the best recording setup.

Lyrics
You speak of time as something wasted
As if eternity were cheap
You call their suffering a sentence
Yet you never learned to keep
A ledger without spectacle
A law without delight
You mistake the roar of judgment
For the presence of what’s right
You say the rules are black and white
Like stone was never carved
Like law was never broken first
By those who claimed to guard
You shout “an eye for an eye”
And call it holy law
But forget who taught restraint
Before the first blood saw
(rising):
Justice is not hunger
Justice does not cheer
Justice does not sharpen blades
And beg the crowd to hear
Justice counts the unseen cost
The wound that does not show
The moment where the soul was bent
Before it learned to go
You call it Hell forever
Because forever lets you turn away
Because mercy asks for witness
And you were taught to look away
You call it fate and finish there
So you never have to know
What was stolen long before
The sinner learned to grow
I am the keeper of the record
Not the spectacle of fire
I weigh intent and consequence
Not your appetite for ire
You kill again and call it order
Call it cleansing. Call it fun
But the law was never written
To amuse the righteous one
You ask if they are Winners
You ask if they are Lost
But never ask who wrote the test
And never paid the cost
You were given power to protect
Not indulge the thrill
And Heaven does not call it virtue
When obedience learns to kill
Every scream you label justice
Echoes back into the scales
Every soul you mark expendable
Adds weight where yours now fails
I do not need their innocence
To measure what you’ve done
The law remembers motive
Even when Heaven runs
You call it Hell forever
Because forever needs no care
Because hope demands responsibility
And you were never there
You say the rules are settled
You say the case is closed
But judgment without mercy
Is a verdict long exposed
This is not rebellion speaking
This is law you chose to ignore
You were never made executioner
You were made something more
And if Heaven must be questioned
Then let it start with you
Because the record is not silent
And the record remembers truth
Justice does not fear compassion
It fears pride that calls itself clean
And I will stand until the scales are right
Between what is
And what has been
Повторяем попытку...
