At the start of Oct 2019, a group of 8 Canadians got a permit to paddle the Grand Canyon of the Colorado. They decided to do it in proper 'Canadian fashion' by packing and organizing a 26 day trip in 16' (17') foot tripping canoes, unsupported from rafts or any other resupplies.
This is a possible first tandem canoe, self supported descent of the Grand Canyon.
