Описание: Today in honor of my dad at the movie madness Ukukele jam Jeanne and mark joined me to help sing and play San Francisco open your golden gate! The song was written in 1936 for the movie San Francisco which came out the same year. Jeannette McDonald sang the heck out of this song and Clark gable was his usual dashing self! My dad loved this song and sang it to us all the time when we were growing up. He and my mom fell in love with San Francisco in 1962 when they moved here from Chicago with us kids. I had just turned five. My sister Jennifer was two and bro Michael 3. Jeanne really hits the song out of the ball park and marks expert strumming and picking really make the song even more wonderful! We didn't get a chance to practice this together either!! So here's to you dad! San Francisco open your golden gate! Don't let no strangest wait outside your door!
