Northern Lights: Explaining the Science

Описание: On the 8 October 2024, the UK was treated to a vivid aurora borealis display or northern lights. This was visible for large parts of the UK including the south of England. I was lucky enough to view with clear sky.

To better understand how the aurora borealis works I created 2 animations with detail explanations.
