Описание: This 1954 Plymouth Belvedere is for sale in our Louisville Showroom. Introduced in 1951, the Plymouth Belvedere was a two-door pillarless hardtop. It was Plymouth's first such body design and was introduced in response to the 1950 Chevrolet Bel Air, the first two-door hardtop in the low-priced American market. Powering the Belvedere was a flathead 217.8 cu in inline 6 cylinder engine with a 7.00:1 compression ratio and producing 97 hp. While still appearing stock on the outside, under the hood is where this car takes a change for the better. The little 97 hp 6 cylinder has been replaced with a healthy Chevrolet 350 CID engine. A Turbo 350 automatic has been mated to the engine. This new drive train combo starts easily, and there is the reliability of a more modern drive train. The Coral Rose exterior and steel wheels with hub caps give no indication of the power now lurking under the hood. This 1954 Plymouth Belvedere is a perfect example of a “Sleeper Car”. Even the color matched interior gives indication that this is nothing more than a bone stock Belvedere.
