VOADV Property Inc., operating as Lilly’s Place LP and part of Volunteers of America Delaware Valley, is developing the 4.74-acre property just west of Old Orchard Road. The project will include 52 senior independent-living apartments and 12 units designed for residents with supportive housing needs. All 64 units will count toward Cherry Hill Township’s affordable housing obligation.

The narrow parcel sits along eastbound Route 70, between St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church and the First Korean United Methodist Church of Cherry Hill, and backs up to Wexford Leas Swim Club and several homes on Highgate Lane. The Cherry Hill Zoning Board approved the major site plan earlier this year, and the property was purchased for $1.6 million.

The former home on the site has now been demolished, land clearing is underway, and construction activity has begun. Developers have stated they will preserve healthy, mature trees where possible and plant 117 replacement trees as part of the project plan.

This stretch of Route 70 is one of Cherry Hill’s busiest corridors — lined with retail, restaurants, medical offices, houses of worship, and established neighborhoods like Old Orchard. It’s a highly visible location with convenient access to I-295, the PATCO Speedline, and surrounding Camden County communities.
