The Mid-Autumn Festival is a festival celebrated notably by the Chinese and Asian people held on the 15th day of the 8th month of the lunar calendar with a full moon at night.
Traditionally, the lantern has been used to symbolize fertility, and functioned mainly as a toy and decoration.
In the old days, lanterns were made in the image of natural things, myths, and local cultures.

A) To make the lantern, material as below need to be prepared.
1. Steel wire
2. Colour cellophane paper (glass paper)
3. Paint and small decoration

B) 3 step to make the lantern
Step 1: Form the shape by steel wire
any shape in 3 dimension
Step 2: Wrap on glass paper
mix and match colour as you like
Step 3: Draw and decorate
draw patterns and put on decoration

During Mid Autumn Festival, children participate in parades in the dark under the full moon with lanterns of various forms, shapes, and colors. Let everyone remember their childhood memory.

中秋节是一个传统的节日。多数的亚洲华人都会在农历八月十五这一天庆祝中秋节。 在月圆的十五， 灯笼是不会或缺的传统。各式各样形状，颜色的灯笼都会出现在家家户户。 一群小孩开心提着灯笼，让月圆的中秋夜晚充满佳节的喜庆。

A）手作传统灯笼，必须准备以下物品
1. 铁线
2. 彩色灯笼或玻璃纸
3. 小装饰及绘图颜料

B）三个步骤
步骤1: 把铁线扎成构思好的形状，以黏纸固定好
步骤2: 贴上玻璃纸，颜色自行配搭
步骤3: 绘上传统图案及装上小饰物

灯笼映射出来彩色的烛光，让很多人回忆起童年的时光。
