She says in the interest of progress, peace and future stability in Zimbabwe, she is prepared to forgive President Mugabe. Mujuru says she still has respect for Mugabe, whom she regards as a father. Mujuru says the veteran leader literally held her hand as she rose through the ranks in Zanu PF and was pained by their fallout. In an exclusive interview with SABC political editor, Sophie Mokoena, Mujuru talks, amongst other topics, about her fallout with Mugabe and her future aspirations as leader. Zimbabwe will hold general elections in 2018.
