Interior: High-end quality with a modern style. Technology is one generation behind with a touchpad for navigating the infotainment screen, but it does integrate with Apple car Play and Android Auto.

Performance: It's a grand touring 5.0L V8 that delivers 471 horsepower with sophisticated growl. Acceleration is impressive as it goes from 0-60 in 4.6 seconds. Overall handling is well-balanced between sport performance and the comfortable luxury.

Family Friendly: Not even close. It does seat four in a 2 + 2 set-up, but the space is tight. Even if you put kids in the back, it's at the expense of front passenger comfort. Cargo capacity is limited to 3.4 cubic feet of trunk space.

Value: It's hard to refer to value when you're talking about a vehicle that starts at $101k. The Lexus LC 500 is less common than some popular competitors like the Corvette which should make it desirable in the secondary market.

Final Statement: Despite some negatives, it's hard not to fall in love with the Lexus LC 500 Convertible. This is truly a car built for the driver who wants an engaging, but comfortable drive. Dropping the top and taking a 2.5 hour drive with the roar of the V8 paired with some good tunes was the pinnacle of Lexus' motto to Experience Amazing. It's not often seen driving around town, so be prepared to talk about it with strangers.
