Turtle Wax ICE Seal N Shine - New 2020 Update! Even Better Chemical Resistance!

Описание: Turtle Wax ICE Seal N Shine has been updated for 2020! The chemical resistance has been even further improved on in the short term, and it has a different grape style fragrance compared to the previous scent. It's still very similar in wipeability and heaviness compared to the first formula, so make sure you do not over apply this to your car. In this video I run a hydrophobic rinse test for both versions of Seal N Shine, then I perform a chemical strip test using Poorboy's World Strip Down to test for the chemical resistance of each spray sealant.

The paint for this test was prepped using Sonax Perfect Finish, followed up with Klean Strip Prep-All, then the new Seal N Shine was applied to the right half of the hood, and the first version was applied to the left half of the hood. 24 hours was allowed for the products to cure before performing the wash and rinse with CarPro Reset, as well as the strip wash test using Poorboy's World Strip Down.

I'm still an advocate for using Turtle Wax ICE Spray Wax or the ICE Spray Detailer as a maintenance product for Seal N Shine. I don't like to use Seal N Shine as a topper over itself after a quick wash, it's a big too heavy for my preference to use it like this. ICE Spray Wax is going to complement Seal N Shine excellently for maintenance.

Also, as I discussed in the video, use Seal N Shine sparingly to avoid streaking, especially on darker paints. I recommend having a damp microfiber towel ready to level out any potential streaks for Seal N Shine, this is extremely effective at removing smears and unevenness cause by an overapplication. Gloss levels look good, very comparable measurements were read after washing Seal N Shine with CarPro Reset, compared to the post-polishing measurements after using Sonax Perfect Finish.
