Minecraft's music feels like - Symphonic SMP Application Video

Описание: This video is my application for the Symphonic SMP, a new minecraft server where we'll create awesome content and honour the music discs.

My build shows two worlds, one, that is a bright and colourful world, full of life, full of adventure. A second world, that is abandoned, lost in time, and empty.

The idea was to show, how a typical "two weeks Minecraft phase" looks like. You spent time with your friends, created a build, we have two bedrooms in the house, with pets and farm animals, while after being abandoned, the colours have faded, plants turned into shrubs. The pets, of course, are still alive, but have moved into other houses, which is why they are not in the abandoned parts of the video.

To pull this video off, I built two versions of the same house and decorated it first, before breaking blocks, replacing some with similar coloured, but faded colours, adding cobwebs and other little details to give the vibe of an abandoned house. While candles before were on, now they are off, foods in the kitchen have gone bad.

The amphitheatre at the start is empty with statues, that symbolize the musicians, that were present before, but have now turned into stone /copper.

My build itself I suppose is nothing particularly special, in the sense that it is not a complicated build, but I hope the idea and storytelling in the video could show my ability to be a great member on this SMP. In order to film this, I learned to use Axiom, a building mod, Easy NPC, and Flashback mod, so that's what I spent the last two weeks on since I've watched your video.

All the music in this video, except for Far, is self-composed to accompany the video itself. This is something that I would also like to add to the SMP, create custom music or sound design for lore videos!
