Introduction to the Book of Daniel:
This introduction explores the astonishing prophecies God gave to Daniel about future world events. The book of Daniel reveals God's desire for a deep, personal connection with us, His people. Therefore, God has provided us with his Word so that we can truly know his mind, heart, and will. Secondly, God has given us prophecy to provide proof that His Word (the Bible) is indeed of divine origin and therefore a trustworthy foundation on which to build our lives. Daniel's unwavering commitment to living for God, despite worldly temptations, exemplifies the rich rewards of maintaining our spiritual identity in God.
