Welcome to another wild episode of South India Diaries. In this vlog, we explore the lush forests of Bandipur National Park, one of India’s most renowned tiger reserves and a vital part of the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve. 🌿🐅
Bandipur is known for its rich biodiversity and is home to tigers, elephants, gaurs, deer, leopards and a wide variety of bird species. We went on a jungle safari and experienced the raw beauty of this protected forest up close.
Safari Timings:
Morning Session
Bus: 6:30–8:00 and 8:00–9:30
Gypsy: 6:30–8:30 and 8:30–10:30
Evening Session
Bus: 2:30–4:00, 4:00–5:30, Last safari 5:00–6:30
Gypsy: 2:30–4:30 and 4:30–6:30
Safari Rates
1. Bus Safari (90 minutes):
Safari fee ₹300 + Entry fee ₹300 + Guide fee ₹50 = Total ₹650 per adult
2. Gypsy Safari (120 minutes):
Safari fee ₹3500 + Entry fee ₹300 per person + Guide fee ₹500 = Total ₹5500 for 5 adults
3. Camper Safari (120 minutes):
Safari fee ₹5000 + Entry fee ₹300 per person + Guide fee ₹500 = Total ₹7900 for 8 adults
