A breath of fresh air! Though not the most beautiful map. Also if you make an interactive location very hard to spot, make sure it will trigger easily when the player is trying to interact with it.
STORYLINE PROGRESSION (!!!SPOILERS!!!):

Lara searches for an entrance to temple of Horus where she can hopefully stop the curse and stop Von Croy once and forever. She finds the entrance at the Sphinx by crafting a shovel and digging a hole.
