Two predators. One target underwater. Only one of them finishes the job.
I sent T-Rex and Scorpios Rex into the same aquatic environment against Aqua Rex — separately, same conditions, same depth. The question wasn't which one is stronger on land. It was which one can translate that strength into something useful when the terrain is working against both of them.
T-Rex in open water is a known problem. The mass is there but the mechanics aren't. It reaches Aqua Rex eventually — the issue is what condition it arrives in and whether it has enough left to sustain the engagement once contact is made.
Scorpios Rex is the more interesting case. It doesn't commit the same way T-Rex does. The approach pattern underwater is different — less linear, more reactive. Whether that translates into an actual advantage against something built for this environment or just means the engagement drags out longer without a clean result is what I was watching for.
One of them lands it. The other one doesn't — and the reason is more specific than just terrain disadvantage.
No real animals — underwater predator capability and terrain adaptation study through simulation.
