TURKEY: Ölüdeniz boat trip & Butterfly Valley

Описание: Butterfly Valley (near Faralya village) is a remote canyon to the south, on the sea-shore, with some rare butterflies (no, I haven't seen one) and waterfall. Its name comes from a large swarm of endemic butterflies, the habitat of which is near the waterfalls on the canyon wall furthest from the sea.

Gemiler Island (nickname: St. Nicholas Island) has the remains of several churches built between the fourth and sixth centuries AD, along with a variety of associated buildings. Archaeologists believe it was the location of the original tomb of Saint Nicholas.
