Before the battle began I fed Lanturn two Rare Candies since ideally it would be able to take out Lance's team by itself. Unfortunately, it's too goddamn slow, plus Lance's Pokemon can really pile on the hurt. The Level 50 Dragonite in particular was a huge pain, because Outrage does so much. Plus you have to rely on Blizzard, whose 30% chance of missing often screws you over. It's pretty mean.
I was hoping for that Dragonair finish as a sort of ironic touch, but Aerodactyl ruined that. I'm just glad Meganium has such solid defenses.
Hall of Fame included as usual. Now for Kanto, after I make two "adjustments" to my team...
