Premonition is one of the great Australian power pop / new wave songs of the late 70s, released by Perth band The Manikins in 1979. This is a completely different version to the single, however, from the various artists compilation "West", released by radio station 96FM in 1981.
It seems to be exclusive to this album, though it's unclear if it was recorded before or after the original single. It's a much lighter, more acoustic arrangement here.
The Manikins line-up on the track is Robbie Perritt (vocals), Neil Fernandes (guitar), Bradley Clark (guitar), Ken Seymour (bass) and Mark Betts (drums).
