Norma Librada Ledezma began her career as a human rights defender the day her daughter, Paloma, disappeared on her way home from school in Chihuahua, Mexico. Since that moment, Norma has dedicated herself to seeking justice for the families and victims of feminicide, disappearance and human trafficking in Mexico.
She is one of the founders and director of Justicia Para Nuestras Hijas, a local organization that offers legal counsel and support to ongoing cases.

Norma Librada Ledezma a débuté sa carrière de défenseuse des droits humains le jour où sa fille, Paloma, a disparu en rentrant de l’école à Chihuahua, au Mexique. Depuis lors, Norma s’est consacrée à la promotion de la justice pour les familles et les victimes de féminicides, de disparitions et de trafics d’êtres humains au Mexique.
Elle est l’une des fondatrices et directrice de Justicia Para Nuestras Hijas, une organisation locale qui propose des conseils juridiques et un soutien aux affaires en cours.
